Guarantee & Warranty Policy

Vincent River Pty Ltd guarantees to the purchaser of the product (customer), that the product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for period of 12 months. This warranty covers faulty workmanship and materials only. Normal wear and tear of parts and accessories such as ratchet heads, pads, blades, retainer springs, chisels, nozzles, connectors, abrasives, chucks or any other such attachments are not included. If a defect in material or workmanship becomes evident during the warranty period Vincent River will, at its option, either, repair the product, replace it, or refund to the customer the purchase price paid by the customer for the product. In the event of such a defect, the product must be returned to Vincent River directly or via the place of purchase, together with proof of purchase for assessment prior to any repair, replacement or refund being offered. Any handling and transportation (and other expenses incurred in claiming under this guarantee) are not covered by this guarantee and will not be borne by Vincent River. The obligation of Vincent River under this guarantee is limited to the circumstances set out above and is subject to: the product not having been abused* misused, altered, tampered with or otherwise dealt with by any person in a manner other than as intended in respect to the relevant product; and the product not having been used or applied in a manner that is contrary to customary usage or application for the relevant product or contrary to any stated instructions or specification of Vincent River.

Any tool returned to us for warranty or repair that is outside of the warranty period or is deemed not to be warranty will be subjected to our Authorised Tool Repairs** policy below.

*Abused Tool (Definition):
1. Any tool that has not been lubricated and maintained regularly.
2. Any tool that has evidence of water or contaminants in the air supply system.
3. Any tool that has been used in a manner that is outside of its normal operation or exceeds the tools designed maximum operating torque or load. (i.e.: forcing an air ratchet beyond the air torque of the tool to crack or turn hard to turn nuts or adding an extension such as a pipe to a spanner or ratchet to increase torque/leverage)
4. Any tool that has evidence of physical, impact or other damage.
5. Any tool that has been opened, modified or where unauthorised repairs have been attempted by the customer or other unauthorised person.

Authorised Tool Repairs** 
Vincent River offers a full tool testing and repair service. Any of our tools returned to us can be inspected and reported on for repair viability. There may be times when servicing or repairing a tool is not cost effective or viable, if this is the case you will be advised after we have inspected the tool.  By returning any tools to us for service or a suspected warranty claim, the customer agrees to a minimum repair charge of $45+gst and agrees to also pay for any return postage charges if applicable. For any repair costs above the minimum repair charge you will be contacted prior to any repairs being carried out.

Shipping
You can check cost of goods and the shipping costs via our website. Simply add your desired products via our Shop to the shopping cart, select the shopping cart, click on Calculate Shipping, fill in your shipping address details and then click Update Totals.

All website prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST
Please also note that there is 10% gst included in the prices listed on our website, when you enter your country and shipping address into the website shopping cart this 10% gst will be removed if you are not in Australia.

Shipping to your country
If your country is not listed in our shopping cart, we do not ship to your country.

Shipping addresses – P.O. Boxes or Click and Collect locations
For orders with a delivery address outside of Australia we can ship to fixed physical addresses only, we are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes, Click and Collect locations or other addresses that cannot be easily located or verified. If we have any trouble with your address after you have ordered we will contact you to try and resolve the issue or have you supply an alternate address.

Problems with Shipping
Due to different regulations and or changes to shipping routes from time-to-time we may be  unable to ship some orders. If this happens we will contact you to discuss alternate shipping options, costs or offer you a full refund if required.

Shipping Times
Once payment for your order is cleared we generally pick, pack and send within 1 business day. If your order is received outside of our regular business hours or too late in the day to be processed, your order will be processed on the following business day.

Australian Delivery Times
In general we find that deliveries to metro Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide are made within 1-3 working days. Tasmania, Brisbane, SEQ, country Vic, NSW and SA take 2-4 days and Perth 3-5 days. FNQ, NT and other remote areas will take 5-10 days and sometimes longer, this is beyond our control.

International Shipping/Orders
We do not offer shipping sales or service of theses tools outside of Australia.

REFUNDS & RETURNS
We accept returns within 30 days of receiving goods for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods and will process refunds provided the goods have not been used, broken or abused. Return postage costs are at your expense but may be refunded at our discretion once we have received any items being returned. Original postage charges are non-refundable.

For change of mind or other reasons we may at our discretion accept a return provided the goods are returned to us within 30 days in re-sellable condition and the buyer pays for any return postage charges. Original postage charges are non-refundable.
